Trustworthy artificial intelligence in healthcare

Susanna Aussó joined TIC Salut Social Foundation (FTSS) in March 2019 as
Head of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Program. In her role she
collaborated actively in the design of the AI Strategy for the Public
Healthcare System of Catalonia and she leads several European &
national projects focused on AI: federated learning, evaluation of
algorithms, synthetic data and explainability techniques.
Prior to joining FTSS, Susanna worked as AI developer and data scientist in several Biomedical Research Centers.
Susanna
holds a Bachelor in Electronic Engineering and a second Bachelor in
Telecommunications Engineering. Further, she holds a Master's degree in
Bioinformatics.
