Sean Gayer qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC and prior to
joining Boston Scientific Cork as Finance Director in 2013, he held a
number of financial and plant leadership roles with multinational
manufacturing companies in the Healthcare and ICT sectors.
He was
appointed VP Operations in 2015, taking on the Cork Site Leadership
role. Over the past 5 years, Boston Scientific Cork has doubled its
output through the addition of new innovative products and technologies.
It has recently completed a 30,000 sq. foot expansion to the facility
and the site has a current workforce of 1,600 people.
