John Kilmartin is Vice-President of Regulatory Affairs in Medtronic. He has worked in the medical technology industry for over 30 years with particular emphasis on US, European and emerging market regulatory frameworks. He works with global regulatory agencies including FDA, European Notified Bodies, Competent authorities, China NMPA and Japan PMDA. John leads a global Regulatory team of 50+ professionals involved in the development and implementation of regulatory and clinical strategies. John is involved with various industry associations including MedTech Europe, Advamed and the Irish MedTech Association (IMA). He is currently Chair of the IMA Regulatory Steering Committee.
