Dr. Atun is Professor of Global Health Systems at Harvard University and Faculty Lead for the Harvard Ministerial Leadership Program. In 2008-12 he was a member of the Executive Management Team of the Global Fund as Director of Strategy, Performance and Evaluation.
Professor Atun’s research focuses on health system reform and innovation in health systems. He has published 300 papers in leading journals. He has acted in consulting or advisory capacity for the World Bank, WHO, and numerous governments on health system reforms, and has undertaken assignments for leading organizations, including Medtronic, Novartis, Merck & Co, MSD, Pfizer and Roche.
